Partnership with Serenou Store: Transforming a Space into a Mini Urban Forest
Marina Corrochano In this project, the client wanted to create a mini forest in a space with little substrate depth.
To meet this demand, we selected native species such as Heliconias, Philodendrons and Calatheas.
As the client was in a hurry and did not want to wait for the plants to gradually grow, we complemented the landscaping with some non-native species, available from the producer, which had enough volume to fill the entire space. The result was a dense, lush, forest-like environment.
Furthermore, we removed part of the stones scattered across the land, reusing the larger ones to elevate the vase (gourd) and create an aquatic environment. This preparation aims for the future installation of a fountain, which will integrate the garden's natural irrigation. Check out the video below with part of the Implementation process
